Welcome to 1FA
Set in a Grade II listed building and designed by Stirling Prize-winning architects AHMM,
1FA blurs the boundaries between business and pleasure. The industrial, warehouse-style
interiors have been transformed into a riot of colour and pattern by award-winning artist
Morag Myerscough. Her ‘Atoll’ installation, with its soaring neon spires, is the focal point of
the central atrium. It’s also the home of the Butterscotch Bakery, serving up freshly baked
artisan pastries which you can order for meetings or events.
There are a whole array of shared spaces tucked in the nooks and crannies on every floor
where you can meet, work and relax – bookable meeting rooms, private working booths,
breakout areas. And two doors down is a boutique Everyman Cinema, which you can hire for
your own private screenings. And on the top floor is a 3,000 square foot roof terrace, with
panoramic views over the City.
The buzz of Broadgate
Over 19 million people visit Broadgate every year, with its mix of innovative shops,
restaurants and bars – from craft beers and botanical cocktails to cutting-edge workout
spaces and world-class salons. It’s also the epicentre of London’s fintech industry, where the
world of cutting-edge finance and technology collide.
With Liverpool Street station next door, nowhere is far. You can be in Heathrow in just over
half an hour, Stansted in 45 minutes, Gatwick in just over an hour. And when Crossrail
opens, it’ll be just 10 minutes by train to Paddington via Bond Street.
