The number of mid-size and large companies and organisations based in Leeds is significantly above the national average.

The leading industries present in Leeds include financial and business services, retail, healthcare services, and an expanding tech sector.

Most of the flexible office stock sits between the station and the Headrow. Wellington Place and Whitehall Riverside, west of the station, hold the newest and largest buildings and price accordingly. Park Square carries Georgian townhouses converted into small suites, which suits professional firms. The Calls and Leeds Dock give you the waterside stock, generally a little cheaper, and Holbeck and the South Bank are the regeneration end and the best value of the central options. Leeds is compact, so almost all of it is within a fifteen minute walk of the station.
